abstract (57) [Summary] [Objective] To provide a photoreactive glycosaminoglycan and its crosslinked glycosaminoglycan having high safety and biocompatibility, easy to manufacture, and unreacted causing side effects. To provide a method for producing a photoreactive glycosaminoglycan and a crosslinked GAG thereof which can easily remove a substance and can be easily molded by solvent casting or the like, and has applicability and versatility mainly including them. Providing certain medical materials. [Structure] A photoreactive GAG obtained by binding a photoreactive compound to glycosaminoglycan (GAG), and a crosslinked GAG obtained by crosslinking the photoreactive compounds of the photoreactive GAG by a crosslinking reaction. It can be produced by a method in which a hydroxyl group or a carboxyl group of glycosaminoglycan and a light-sensitive compound are subjected to an ester bond reaction, a method in which a carboxyl group of glycosaminoglycan is subjected to an amide bond reaction, and the like.
