titleOfInvention | Method for producing high-purity thallium |
abstract | (57) [Summary] (Revised) [Purpose] Starting from various thallium-containing substances 99.99 (EN) A safe, simple and high-yield method for obtaining 9% high-purity thallium. [Structure] (a) a step of oxidizing and leaching a thallium-containing substance to obtain a thallium-containing liquid by solid-liquid separation, and (b) adding a reducing agent and a chlorine source to the thallium-containing liquid, or a chlorine source in the raw material A step of precipitating and separating a double salt of thallium chloride or thallium chloride and cadmium chloride using, and (c) a step of washing cadmium with thallium chloride or a double salt thereof to remove cadmium, and (d) A step of adding a sulfidizing agent to a thallium sulfate solution obtained by decomposing thallium chloride with sulfuric acid to precipitate and separate residual impurities as sulfides, and (e) reducing the thallium sulfate solution of the filtrate to recover it as metal thallium. A method for producing high-purity thallium, which comprises the steps of: |
