titleOfInvention | Apparatus for molding skin integrated foam |
abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain a product improved in the touch of a skin and having good cushioning properties by providing an air bag in a treatment chamber and expanding the same in the predetermined stage of foam molding to fill and close the treatment chamber. CONSTITUTION:A skin material 3 is set to a lower mold 1 and the terminal part 3a of the cover pad surface of the skin material 3 is grasped and fixed by the engaging jig 4 provided on the inner wall of the terminal treatment chamber 7 within the mold. Subsequently, air is supplied to the air bag 8 received in the treatment chamber 7 to expand the air bag. Next, an urethane foam resin raw material is injected to be scattered over the cover pad surface of the skin material 3 and the upper opening part of the mold 1 is closed by an upper mold 2. The air and generated gas in the upper part of the mold are discharged out of the mold from gas vent holes 2a. The gas vent holes 2a are also filled with the foamed resin and the foamed resin becomes foam 5 to be integrated with the skin material 3. The mold is closed and air is vented from the air bag 8 and the upper mold 2 is opened to take out the product in the mold 1. |
