titleOfInvention | Reinforced polyamide composition |
abstract | PURPOSE: To prevent warpage and improve impact resistance, high-temp. rigidity, mechanical strengths, etc., by compounding a specific polymer alloy of a polyamide with an olefinic polymer with glass fibers and an inorg. aluminosilicate filler. n CONSTITUTION: 0.01-50wt.% olefinic polymer having a number-average mol.wt. of 500-50000 and acid anhydride groups only at the molecular ends, 5-99.99wt.% polyamide, and 0-94.99wt.% another olefinic polymer are melt mixed. The resulting polymer alloy (A) is compounded with glass fibers (B) and an inorg. aluminosilicate filler (C) (e.g. baked kaolin) in such a wt. ratio as to satisfy formulas 0.01≤[(B)+(C)]/(A)≤2.0 and 0.6<(B)/(C)<1.6. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
