abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the title copolyester which can give an easily bondable coating film excellent in water and blocking resistances by dissolving or dispersing a specified amount of a specified copolyester and a specified amount of a specified unsaturated monomer in a solvent and polymerizing the unsaturated monomer. n CONSTITUTION: 10-90wt.% non-suefonated copolyester (e.g. a copolyester obtained from terephthalic acid, isophthalic acid, 1, 4-butanediol and bisphenol A/ethylene oxide adduct) and 10-90wt.% unsaturated monomer containing a hydrophilic unsaturated monomer (e.g. a mixture comprising methyl methacrylate, ethyl acrylate and methacrylamide) are dissolved or dispersed in a solvent (e.g. tetrahydrofuran), and the unsaturated monomer is polymerized. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
