abstract PURPOSE: To provide a modified polyester fiber having an excellent durable stain-preventing property by copolymerizing a polyester substrate with a polyoxyalkylene glycol blocked at one side thereof and adding an one side- hindered phenol compound to the resultant copolymer. n CONSTITUTION: The objective polyester fiber comprises a copolyester copolymerized with an one end-blocked polyoxyalkylene glycol such as polyoxyethylene glycol monophenyl ether or polyoxyethylene glycol glycidyl ether in an amount of 1.0-20wt.% based on the copolyester and contains a one side-hindered phenolic compound in an amount of 1.0-30wt.% based on the polyoxyalkylene glycol. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
