titleOfInvention Composition for long-acting preparation and its production
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition consisting of crystalline and slightly soluble basic drug, higher fatty acid, enteric high polymer and surfactant, having no problem to stability of drug with a high reappearance and capable of providing uniformal effectiveness. n CONSTITUTION: The composition consisting of (A) crystalline and slightly soluble basic drug (e.g. nicardipine) or salt thereof, (B) higher fatty acid, preferably 12 to 18C higher fatty acid which is solid at ordinary temperature and 0.3 to 16 times by weight based on the ingredient A, (C) enteric high polymer, e.g. methacrylic acid-(meth)acrylic acid ester copolymer 0.3 to 16 times by weight based on the ingredient A and (D) surfactant, preferably nonionic surfactant 0.002 to 2 times by weight based on the ingredient A. Blend ratio of the ingredient A is 5 to 50wt.%, preferably 10 to 30wt.%. The abovementioned four ingredients are kneaded in prescribed weight ratio, pulverized and uniformed to prepare the abovementioned composition. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
