titleOfInvention Spreading plaster of percutaneous absorption
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the title spreading plaster having high permeability of drug through skin, releasing each given amount for a long period of time by adding estradiol (ester) and lactic ester to a tacky layer containing a copolymer of a specific composition capable of dissolving the drug in high concentration. n CONSTITUTION: 6-25wt.%, preferably 8-20wt.% estradiol and/or ester thereof and 1-100 pts.wt. based on 100 pts. wt. tacky base of a higher fatty acid ester obtained from lactic acid and 1-20C alcohol and/or a higher fatty acid ester prepared from 10-18C fatty acid and 1-20C alcohol as a percutaneous absorption promoter are added to a tacky agent base layer comprising a copolymer containing 45-80mol%, preferably 55-70mol% 2-ethylhexyl acrylate and 20-55mol%, preferably 30-45mol% N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone as a tacky base and the tacky agent layer is laid on a drug-impermeable flexible substrate. The tacky agent layer has no skin irritation and can avoid skin disorder such as flare. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
