titleOfInvention | Thermal recording material |
abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain a high sensible thermal recording material which is excellent in traveling performance by a method wherein calcium carbonate of which oil absorption is specified is contained in a thermal coloring layer. CONSTITUTION:Calcium carbonate of 100ml/100g or over in oil absorption is contained in a thermal coloring layer. Though a coloring agent, a developer, and a thermofusible substance are dispersed in a water soluble binder, the binder to be used is preferably a compound which is dissolved by not less than 5wt% of water at 25 deg.C and concretely, polyvinyl, methyl cellulose, etc., are exemplified. As the coloring agent, a triarylmethane compound, a diphenylmethane compound, etc., are exemplified. The developer to be used is phenol compound or salicilic acid derivative and its polyvalent metal and is preferably used by 50 to 80wt% of the coloring agent. The thermoplastic substance is, for example, p-benzyloxy benzyl benzote, beta-naphthyl-benzyl ether, etc., and is preferably and used by 10 to 200wt% of an electron accepting com pound. |
