abstract PURPOSE: To determine the quantity of a substance giving a change to a prolylisomerase activity such as an immunosuppressive agent, cyclosporin A, by bringing a specimen containing the substance giving the change to the prolylisomerase activity into contact with the enzyme to measure the change of the enzymatic activity thereof. n CONSTITUTION: A specimen containing a substance (e.g., cyclosporin A) giving a change to a peptidylprolyl cis-trans isomerase (prolylisomerase) activity is brought into contact with the prolylisomerase in a quartz cell in the specimen chamber of a spectrophotometer to measure the extend of the resultant change of the prolylisomerase activity as the change of absorbance by the spectrophotometer whereby the existence of an ability for giving the change to the prolylisomerase activity of the substance or the extend of the ability is measured to determine the quantity of the substance giving the prolylisomerase activity. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
