titleOfInvention Resin for material of lens comprising s-alkyl ester of thiocarmabic acid, plastic lens comprising the resin and production of the lens
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a lens having high refractive index, low dispersion, and high weather resistance by using a thiocarbamic acid S-alkyl ester resin obtd. by a reaction of a polyisocyanate with a mercapto compd. having an OH group. CONSTITUTION:The title thiocarbamic acid S-alkyl ester resin is obtd. by a reaction of at least one kind of polyisocyanate with a mercapto compd. having an OH group, wherein said polyisocyanate is an S-contg. polyisocyanate and said mercapto compd. contg. an OH group is one contg. at least one S atom in addition to the mercapto group. Thus, a plastic lens having high refractive index, low dispersion, and high weather resistance is obtd.
