titleOfInvention Method for controlling disease injury of lawn
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a germicidal composition capable of treatment in a high concentration without causing yellow contamination of lawn, by containing a blue dye or pigment in a pharmaceutical of copper 8-quinolinate known as an agricultural chemical having high safety with low toxicity. n CONSTITUTION: Lawn is treated with a germicidal composition containing copper 8-quinolinate and a blue dye or pigment (especially preferably blue pigment, such as prussian blue or ultramarine) in a high concentration (e.g., spray of 1l copper 8-quinolinate solution in 1600W3200ppm concentration per m 2 in the case of preventive spraying for disease injury of lawn and in 3200ppm concentration per m 2 in the case of treatment of already infested lesion) to control disease injuries of lawn (e.g., brown patch, large patch or pythrium patch). This controlling method is safe and economical with less labor sufficient therefor. Furthermore, lawn can be recovered in an extremely early stage while maintaining beauty of green color with remedial effects of the copper 8-quinolinate and regeneration promoting effects of new leaves and blue dye or pigment. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
