titleOfInvention Production of optically active unsaturated alcohol and esterified product thereof
abstract PURPOSE: To produce an optically active unsaturated alcohol and esterified product thereof, by subjecting a R, S-isomer compound to ester exchange reaction with an ester in the presence of an enzyme under the state substantially free from moisture content. n CONSTITUTION: A compound expressed by formula I (R is H, cyano, 1W20C alkyl, alkoxycarbonyl, trifluoromethyl, trialkylsylyl group, etc.; n is 0W10; isomer by double bond is E-isomer or Z-isomer) is prepared. The compound expressed by formula I is reacted with an ester in the presence of an enzyme capable of reacting with the compound expressed by formula I and preferentially carrying out ester exchange reaction with either one compound of R-isomer and S-isomer under the state free from moisture content to resolve the above- mentioned compound into the optically active unsaturated alcohol and esterified product thereof enriched to either one of R-isomer and S-isomer. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
