abstract | PURPOSE: To achieve excellent thermal responsibility and little dross stuck to a thermal head and to lessen texture fog owing to heat accumulation of the thermal head, by a method wherein 2-benzyloxynaphthalene and p- benzylbiphenyl are contained as an additive by a specific mixing ratio (ratio by weight). n CONSTITUTION: As a dye precursor, general pressure sensitive recording paper is used and only when a material is used for the pressure sensitive recording paper or the like, it is not especially limited. As a developer, acidic materials generally used for thermal sensitive paper, i.e., an electron acceptible compound is used. As an additive, 2-benzyloxynaphthalene and p-benzylbiphenyl are contained by a mixing ratio from 95:5W70:30. Then, the additive is added generally by not less than 5wt.% to the developer.
