abstract | According to the present invention, (A) A water slurry of titanium oxide particles is wet-dispersed with a medium stirring mill or a high-pressure disperser in the presence of 15 to 250 mol parts of acetic acid and 15 to 90 mol parts of nitric acid with respect to 100 mol parts of titanium oxide. A first step of obtaining an aqueous dispersion of titanium oxide particles before washing; (B) There is provided a method for producing an aqueous dispersion of titanium oxide particles, comprising a second step of washing the aqueous dispersion of pre-cleaning titanium oxide particles obtained in the first step (a). Furthermore, according to the present invention, (C) There is provided a method for producing an alcohol dispersion of titanium oxide particles, which includes a third step of replacing the dispersion medium of the aqueous dispersion of titanium oxide particles obtained in the second step (b) with an alcohol solvent. |
