titleOfInvention Nematic liquid crystal composition and liquid crystal display device using the same
abstract The present invention relates to a nematic liquid crystal composition having a positive dielectric anisotropy (Δε) useful as a liquid crystal display material, and a liquid crystal display device using the same. The liquid crystal composition of the present invention has a large absolute value of dielectric anisotropy and a low viscosity, and a liquid crystal display device using the liquid crystal composition has a high contrast and a high speed response as well as display quality that does not cause image sticking or display defects. An excellent liquid crystal display element can be provided. The liquid crystal display element using the liquid crystal composition of the present invention is useful for achieving both high-speed response and suppression of display failure, and is particularly useful for a liquid crystal display element for active matrix driving, such as IPS type and TN type. It can be applied to liquid crystal display elements. [Selection figure] None
