Disclosed are methods, devices, and systems for analyte analysis using nanopores. The methods, devices, and systems utilize a first binding member and a second binding member that each specifically bind to an analyte in a biological sample. The method further includes detecting and / or counting a cleavable tag attached to the second binding member and correlating the presence and / or number of tags to the presence and / or concentration of the analyte. Certain embodiments of the method do not include a tag, but rather the second binding member can be detected / quantified directly. Detection and / or counting can be performed by moving the tag / second binding member through the nanopore. Devices and systems programmed to perform the disclosed methods are also provided. |
