abstract |
A doped scandia stabilized electrolyte composition for a solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC). An electrolyte composition for a solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) includes scandia and at least one of magnesia, zinc oxide, indium oxide, and gallium oxide, and optionally in addition to the oxides described above. Contains zirconia stabilized with ceria. The electrolyte composition has higher ionic conductivity than yttria stabilized zirconia (YSZ) which is a SOFC electrolyte material. [Selection] Figure 19C |
