abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared cut filter having an excellent ability to absorb near infrared light, and an optical filter package including the infrared cut filter. An infrared cut filter 1 includes a transparent substrate 2, a first absorption film 3 provided on a first surface 2a of the transparent substrate 2, and a second absorption film 4 provided on a second surface 2b of the transparent substrate 2. And a reflective structure 5 provided on the opposite side of the first absorption film 3 from the transparent substrate 2. The first absorption film 3 and the second absorption film 4 absorb light having a part of the wavelength range from the visible light region to the near infrared light region, and the reflection structure 5 has a wavelength in the near infrared light region. Reflects light. The first absorption film 3 and the second absorption film 4 are configured such that the absorption peak of the second absorption film 4 is located on the shorter wavelength side than the absorption peak of the first absorption film 3.
