titleOfInvention | System and method for identifying progesterone receptor subtypes |
abstract | Systems and methods for identifying progesterone positive tumors utilizing progesterone receptor isotype specific antibodies are provided. One embodiment includes obtaining a tissue sample suspected of being tumorigenic or cancerous from a patient, at least a first antibody for detecting PRA and at least a second for detecting PRB in the tissue sample. Identify progesterone receptor-positive tumors by identifying progesterone receptor-positive cells and, if the presence of PRA or PRB is detected, determine that the tissue sample is progesterone receptor-positive Provide a way to do it. |
