abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a hydrogen gas production method capable of obtaining hydrogen gas at a high recovery rate by efficiently using off-gas. The hydrogen production method of the present invention is a hydrogen gas production method for producing high-purity hydrogen gas from a hydrogen-rich gas containing hydrogen gas and an impurity gas other than hydrogen by purification using an adsorption tower, which is discharged from the adsorption tower. Removing an impurity gas other than hydrogen gas from the off-gas using an off-gas adsorption tower, and a high-purity hydrogen gas exhausted from the adsorption tower after removing the impurity gas removed in the impurity gas removal process.
