A polyurethane resin aqueous dispersion (Q) for ink-jet ink containing water and a polyurethane resin (U) and satisfying all of the following (1) to (5). (1) The urethane group content in (U) is 0.5 to 5.0 mmol / g based on the weight of (U). (2) The terminal amino group content in (U) is 0.35 mmol / g or less based on the weight of (U). (3) The number average molecular weight (Mn) of (U) is 10,000 or more. (4) The swelling ratio of (U) to ethanol at 25 ° C. is 300% by weight or less based on the weight of (U).
