abstract |
A gas sensor having excellent detection sensitivity is provided. A solid electrolyte in which a detection electrode for detecting a predetermined gas component provided in a mixed potential gas sensor for measuring a concentration of a predetermined gas component in a gas to be measured has oxygen ion conductivity with a noble metal. The noble metal is Pt and Au, and the range from the surface of the noble metal particles constituting the detection electrode to at least 1.5 nm is an Au concentration region with an Au concentration ratio of 10% or more.
