titleOfInvention | Method for modifying windshield surface for transportation equipment |
abstract | The present invention provides a manufacturing method for forming a film mainly composed of silicon dioxide having a uniform thickness on a windshield surface of a transportation device having a curved surface or unevenness. By irradiating a resin substrate 1 having a silicon polymer layer 3 formed by application of silicon polymer with vacuum ultraviolet rays, a film 4a containing silicon dioxide as a main component is formed on the surface of the silicon polymer layer 3. A method for modifying the surface of a resin substrate such as a windshield, which increases the film thickness (4a, 4b) of a film mainly composed of silicon dioxide by forming and then irradiating near ultraviolet rays.
