abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polybutylene terephthalate pellet, a mixture thereof, and a method for producing the same, which can obtain a transparent and high-quality polybutylene terephthalate film with little foreign matter. SOLUTION: The main component is a polybutylene terephthalate pellet (A) for film having an inorganic particle content of more than 2.5% by mass and 9% by mass or less, a mixture thereof, and terephthalic acid or an ester-forming derivative thereof. In the method for producing a polyester by reaction with a dicarboxylic acid component and a diol having 1,4 butanediol as a main component, the inorganic particles are used in an amount of more than 2.5% by mass and 9% by mass or less based on the obtained polyester. A method for producing polybutylene terephthalate, comprising adding a titanium compound and a compound of Group 2 element of the periodic table as a reaction catalyst. [Selection figure] None |
