abstract |
A solid-state laser element capable of preventing thermal damage is provided. A solid-state laser element includes a laser medium, a first cover member, and a second cover member. The laser medium 1 is made of fluoride glass doped with a laser active substance. The laser medium 1 has a rod shape or a plate shape. The first cover member 2 is bonded to the incident surface 1 a of the laser medium 1. The first cover member 2 has a higher thermal conductivity than the laser medium 1.
