abstract |
【Task】 Provided is a semiconductor laser pumped solid state laser that increases laser output by preventing damage to a laser crystal associated with an increase in pump light in an end face pumped semiconductor laser pumped solid state laser. [Solution] In a semiconductor laser pumped solid-state laser of an end face pumping system, a plurality of laser crystal elements 5, 6, and 7 having the same composition formula with only different rare earth ion concentrations are used as laser crystals. The laser absorption amount per unit length with respect to the laser crystal is provided by arranging the heat dissipation means 10 on the side surface of the laser crystal excluding the surface through which the laser passes and dissipating heat to the outside perpendicular to the surface through which the laser passes.
