abstract |
The present invention relates to a method for the production of a prosthetic element comprising a glass-ceramic body. This method a) providing a prepared substrate comprising an amorphous glass phase and containing components of a glass-ceramic body; b) transferring energy to the substrate to induce the conversion of the material of the substrate into at least one crystalline phase within a limited area. According to the invention, energy is transferred to a limited area of the substrate by irradiating the area with a laser beam having a wavelength of at least 500 nm. |
