abstract |
The present invention provides a method capable of recovering a preferable aromatic component in a fresh biological raw material and reducing the recovery rate of an undesirable aromatic component, and an apparatus usable in the method. In addition to recovering a distillate by a conventionally used steam distillation method, a bio-raw material is obtained by recovering an aromatic component that has passed as a gas without being condensed in a cooling step by gas-liquid contact in the liquid.
