Method for producing hydrolyzed allergen |
abstract |
Provided is an antigen from a natural allergen that is capable of stimulating T cells with significantly less ability to induce an allergic response compared to a crude allergen extract. A) a natural source of allergens including allergen proteins is extracted; b) a purified extract from which non-protein components have been removed is generated; and c) the purified extract is denatured to produce a purified modified extract. Wherein the purified denatured extract contains protein, and the most abundant (w / w) protein group constituting at least 60% (w / w) of the total protein is at least two proteins, A purified extract of natural allergen corresponding to at least 60% (w / w) of the dry weight of the purified modified extract; and a) hydrolyzing the modified allergen to produce an allergen hydrolyzate, 70%, More preferably, a natural allergen purified extract comprising a step of obtaining a purified hydrolyzate in which 80% of the peptide is 10,000 Da to 1,000 Da.
