titleOfInvention Monolithic cells and especially monolithic commutation cells for integrated circuits
abstract A more compact converter is realized by further downsizing. A cell according to the present invention has at least two semiconductor structures of the same nature, both of which utilize unidirectional voltage and current, each structure comprising an anode (10), a cathode (14) and optionally a gate (16). These structures are integrated on a batch of identical semiconductor substrates (4). On the first surface of the semiconductor substrate (4), a cathode (14) and optionally a gate (16) are arranged. The anodes (10) are each disposed on a second surface opposite to the first surface of the semiconductor substrate (4) and face the cathode and optionally the corresponding gate. Two electrodes, anode or cathode, of two separate structures are electrically connected to each other. [Selection] Figure 3
