A cleaning system for a medical device includes a plurality of cleaning caps attached to a substrate. Each cleaning cap can be selectively and individually peeled from the substrate, and prior to such peeling, the substrate functions as an encapsulant for each cap opening. Each cap includes an internal cavity accessible through the opening. The internal cavity holds a cleaning material containing a cleaning agent, which is held within the internal cavity by a seal provided by the substrate. After peeling, the cap can be attached to the site of the medical device and contacted with the cleaning material and cleaning agent to clean the site. |
