Method for removing radioactive cesium from soil |
abstract |
A method for efficiently removing radioactive cesium from soil at low cost and reusing the treated soil is provided. The method of the present invention comprises (1) inorganic calcium such that the proportion of inorganic calcium compound or organic calcium compound in the mixture of soil and inorganic calcium compound or organic calcium compound is 3% by mass or more and 30% by mass. An addition step of adding a compound or an organic calcium compound, and further adding sodium chloride so as to be more than 0.5% by mass and 5% by mass or less with respect to the mass of a mixture of soil and an inorganic calcium compound or an organic calcium compound; 2) A heating process in which radioactive cesium is volatilized from the soil after the addition step by heat treatment at a temperature of 1000 ° C to 1200 ° C for a period of 30 minutes to 120 minutes, and (3) dust generated from the soil by the heating step. The radioactive cesium is recovered by washing the water with water and adsorbing the washed wastewater with the Prussian blue supported adsorbent. It has a recovery step that, a.
