abstract | An excellent negative electrode material for a non-aqueous secondary battery having excellent output characteristics, high capacity, and high cycle characteristics is provided. There is provided a carbon material for a non-aqueous secondary battery characterized by having a property of adsorbing dimethylbibenzyl. A negative electrode material using a carbon material for a non-aqueous secondary battery that has the property of adsorbing dimethylbibenzyl has a high affinity for lithium ions that form a conjugate with a part of the electrolyte, so that lithium ions can be removed from the carbon material surface. Because of its high capacity, it has excellent input / output characteristics as a lithium battery, as well as high capacity and high cycle characteristics. [Selection figure] None |
