abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a quaternary cyclic amidine phosphate ester salt in a short time. A solvent having a boiling point higher than any of the amine (A) represented by the general formula (1) and water and having a solubility parameter of 8 to 25 (cal / cm 3 ) 1/2 In the presence of (B), (A) is reacted with the salt (D) of the phosphate ester (C) represented by the general formula (2) and the diamine monoamide compound (E) represented by the general formula (3). A method for producing a quaternary cyclic amidine phosphate ester salt is also obtained by removing the produced water and subjecting it to a cyclization dehydration reaction to obtain a quaternary cyclic amidine phosphate ester salt (F).
