titleOfInvention Two-component dual roller toner
abstract In a dual-roll two-component development system, a method for printing a substrate with high image quality using a toner in which a surface additive does not easily dissociate from the surface of toner particles. In a method of printing a substrate, a toner comprising toner particles having at least one surface additive is provided, the toner particles having an FPIA average roundness of at least 0.95 and having a frequency of 35 kHz. At a frequency of 4500-4700 J / toner of 1 gram, at least 80% by weight of the total amount of surface additives remains on the surface of the toner particles. The surface additive is added to the toner before or at the time of making the FPIA average roundness of the toner particles 0.95 by modifying the shape or surface of the toner particles.
