abstract An optical wiring component having excellent mechanical characteristics, and a highly reliable opto-electric hybrid member and electronic device including the optical wiring component are provided. An optical wiring component includes a long and layered optical waveguide (optical wiring) capable of transmitting an optical signal, and a support portion provided to cover a side surface and upper and lower surfaces of the optical waveguide. 3 is provided. The support portion 3 is provided so as to be in contact with the optical waveguide 2 and is composed of a composite material composed of a plurality of base fibers, a resin that binds the base fibers, and other additives. Further, the support portion 3 is configured to surround the entire optical waveguide 2 when cut so as to be orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the optical waveguide 2. The base fiber is preferably an organic fiber that is randomly oriented in the support portion 3. Such a support portion 3 is preferably formed by a papermaking method. [Selection] Figure 1
