A film-shaped optical waveguide is laminated on a lower clad layer, a core portion having a specific width formed on the upper surface of the lower clad layer, and the lower clad layer and the core portion. The upper clad layer 5 formed in this manner, and the lower clad layer 3 and the coating layer 2 formed by being laminated on the peripheral surface of the upper clad layer 5. The coating layer 2 is a polymer containing aromatic polyimide and / or aromatic polyamic acid and having a light transmittance in the thickness direction (wavelength 400 nm) of 10% or more.
