abstract A transparent flame retardant optical fiber ribbon, a transparent flame retardant optical fiber cable, and a flame retardant resin composition are provided. An ultraviolet curable resin, a metal hydroxide whose surface is modified with a vinyl silane coupling agent and having an average particle size of 0.01 to 1 μm, and a cyclic phosphazene compound represented by the following formula (1): A flame retardant resin composition containing 5 to 60 parts by mass of a metal hydroxide and 10 to 50 parts by mass of phosphazene with respect to 100 parts by mass of an ultraviolet curable resin. (In formula (1), n represents an integer of 3 to 15, and A represents an alkoxy group or an aryloxy group having an aromatic ring having 6 to 20 carbon atoms.) [Selection figure] None
