To provide a gel capable of generating chlorine dioxide gas in a short time and storing the generated chlorine dioxide for a long time, and a method for producing the same. In a first step, a polymer, a polyethylene glycol copolymer, and di-2-decyl-2-tetradecanol are dissolved in hot water to obtain a polyethylene glycol copolymer, di-2- A decyl-2-tetradecanol aqueous solution was obtained, and in the second step, the polyethylene glycol copolymer and di-2-decyl-2-tetradecanol aqueous solution were heated to obtain a gel-like aggregate. In the third step, chlorine dioxide gas is dissolved in water to obtain an aqueous solution of chlorine dioxide, and in the fourth step, the aqueous solution of chlorine dioxide and the polyethylene glycol copolymer, di-2-decyl-2-tetradecanol. Aggregate is uniformly mixed to obtain a chlorine dioxide gel. [Selection] Fig. 1 |
