Provided herein are biomarkers for lung cancer. Salivary biomarkers identified herein (CCNI, EGFR, FGF9, GREB1 protein, LZTS, BRAF, FRS2, ANXA 1, haptoglobin Hp2, zinc α2-glycoprotein, calprotectin, Porphyromonas catoniae (Porphyromonas catoniae) ) 16S rRNA, Campylobacter showae 16S rRNA, Streptococcus salivaris 16S rRNA, Campylobacter rectus 16S rRNA, Bayonella parula vula16 Kigella oralis) 16S rRNA, and Granulicatella adiacens 16S rRNA) have the sensitivity and specificity for detecting lung cancer The basis for the assay.
