abstract The frequency accuracy of an oscillation device (on-chip oscillator) is improved. An oscillation device generates an oscillation circuit 25 that generates a clock signal CKOUT based on a voltage VCNT, a control circuit 26 that generates signals CHOP and ZCHR synchronized with the clock signal CKOUT, and a current I1 based on a resistor R. A current generating circuit 22; a frequency voltage converting circuit 23 for converting the frequency of the signal ZCHR into the voltage Vfv using the current I1 to generate the sampling voltage VSAMP; and an integration for generating the voltage VCNT based on the sampling voltage VSAMP and the voltage VREFC.
