abstract The present invention relates to a composition for an electrode of a lithium secondary battery that is excellent in dispersibility and adhesiveness of an active material, and capable of producing a high-capacity lithium secondary battery even when the amount of binder added is small. It aims at providing the lithium secondary battery using the composition for lithium secondary battery electrodes. A composition for an electrode of a lithium secondary battery containing an active material, a conductive additive, a binder and water, wherein the binder contains a polyvinyl acetal resin, and the polyvinyl acetal resin has a hydroxyl group amount of 40. The composition for lithium secondary battery electrodes which is -95 mol% and the solubility with respect to 100 g of water is 1 g or more. [Selection figure] None
