An object of the present invention is to provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition that forms a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer excellent in room-temperature pressure-sensitive adhesiveness and low-temperature reworkability. The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition of the present invention is a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition containing an acrylic polymer obtained by polymerizing a monomer component, or a partial polymer of the monomer component, wherein the monomer component contains carbon. It includes a (meth) acrylic acid alkyl ester having a linear or branched alkyl group having a number of 10 to 13, and is substantially free of a carboxyl group-containing monomer.
