abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a method for efficiently producing uridine triphosphate and hyaluronic acid. SOLUTION: A uridine triphosphate synthase (B) is allowed to act on a composition (Z) containing hyaluronic acid synthase (D), hyaluronic acid and uridine diphosphate and a phosphate group-containing compound (A). A method for producing uridine triphosphate, wherein the following Michaelis constant Km is less than 100 times the inhibitory concentration IC 50 shown below. Michaelis constant Km: Michaelis constant in a reaction in which uridine diphosphate is used as a substrate, (B) is used as an enzyme, and a phosphate group-containing compound is allowed to act to synthesize uridine triphosphate. Inhibitory concentration IC 50 : The enzyme activity of (D) determined by using uridine diphosphate-glucuronic acid and uridine diphosphate-N-acetylglucosamine as substrates and uridine diphosphate as an inhibitor is halved.
