Provided is a method for easily manufacturing a phosphor composite member having a higher emission intensity than conventional ones. A method of placing a mixed powder containing glass powder and an inorganic phosphor powder on an inorganic base material, and press-molding the mixed powder while heating using a mold, to the surface of the inorganic base material A method for producing a phosphor composite member, comprising the step of forming an inorganic powder sintered body layer.
