titleOfInvention | Ink composition for continuous ink jet |
abstract | The present invention relates to continuous ink jet printing of an aqueous colored ink composition that is reused from a main ink supply container. The present invention uses a printer with a fluid delivery system that can measure the electrical resistivity of the ink, as well as vehicle replenishment fluid or new The required amount of ink is applied to maintain the desired regenerated ink density. The electrical resistivity of the colored ink can be advantageously improved for stable ink reuse by adding an acid organic amine salt, and at the same time the pH stability of the ink is equimolar with respect to the amine salt. It can be improved by further including a neutral type. Colored inkjet compositions provide particularly stable and unchanging fluid properties over a wide range of printer operations and ink recirculation periods. |
