titleOfInvention | Method for separating impurity elements from platinum group solution |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently separating a platinum group element impurity element such as bismuth, tin and antimony from a platinum group element solution to obtain a platinum group element solution having a low impurity element concentration. SOLUTION: Potassium chloride is added to a platinum group element solution to convert the platinum group element into a potassium salt, and the resulting platinum group potassium salt is mixed and washed with dilute hydrochloric acid having a concentration of 1 to 3 mol / l. Sodium hydroxide solution is added to the washed potassium salt to obtain a potassium salt neutralized starch. Sodium hydroxide and an oxidizing agent are added to the potassium salt neutralized starch to be leached, and hydrochloric acid is added to and dissolved in the recovered leaching residue to obtain a platinum group hydroxide solution.
