An object of the present invention is to provide a liquid crystal display device in which no hillock is generated in the wiring during manufacture and the etching shape can be easily controlled. A liquid crystal display device includes scanning lines arranged in a matrix on a substrate, signal lines, thin film transistors connected to the scanning lines and signal lines, and pixel electrodes connected to the thin film transistors. In the liquid crystal display device, the scanning line has a laminated structure of an aluminum-neodymium alloy layer 211 and a refractory metal layer 212 from the lower layer, and the signal line 12 has a refractory metal layer 231 and an aluminum-neodymium alloy layer 232 from the lower layer. It has a three-layer structure with the refractory metal layer 233, and the neodymium content is adjusted according to the type of the refractory metal. [Selection] Figure 3 |
