abstract |
A polarizing film that can be dyed in a short time and can be produced with high productivity is provided. A polarizing film obtained by dyeing and stretching a PVA resin film made of a PVA copolymer, the PVA copolymer comprising a vinyl ester monomer, a vinylamine, and an N-vinylcarboxylic acid amide. A polarizing film, which is a copolymer obtained by saponifying a polymer obtained by copolymerizing at least one comonomer selected from the group consisting of (meth) acrylamide propanesulfonic acid and a salt thereof.
